About the series

The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa presents in collaboration with Scottsdale League for the Arts – “Mixed: A Cocktail Culinary Series” in which inventive cocktails are expertly paired with inspired culinary concepts in an imaginative series of interactive tasting experiences.

Beverage Specialist Matt Allen’s innovative creations take center stage as Allen takes guests through a sequence of cocktail and culinary pairings that include off-the-beaten-path themes like “Birds & Bees,” featuring honey-infused cocktails paired with savory poultry dishes, and “Locals Only,” featuring barrel-aged Arizona spirits paired with Arizona prime cuts sourced from ranches across the state.

Event seating is limited with only 24 seats available per event, each hosted privately at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa.Tickets are $100 per person.

June 14, 2019:  A Tale of Five Isles

In celebration of the contributions Scottish immigrants made to early Arizona, explore a variety of “Scotchtails” – Scotch whisky-based cocktails representing all five of Scotland’s iconic isles – joined by traditional Scottish fare rich with the likes of pecan- and barrel-smoked fish, game proteins and more.

Net proceeds from this event support the Scottsdale League for the Arts.
