Food Editor, Phoenix New Times


Lauren Saria is Food Editor for Phoenix New Times. Her work includes the 2015 Association of Food Journalist award-winning story “Flour Power” about the local grain and bread movement in Arizona and regular articles and blogs for the Phoenix New Times newspaper and website. She’s a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, where she earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism and mass communication. When shes’ not writing, eating, or cooking, you can find her running, hiking with her dog, or hunting for vintage dishware.
