Jaime Palenque is Senior Executive Chef at Banner Thunderbird Hospital, where he is in charge of all culinary operations of the 600-bed hospital, catering operations, and visitors’ Café.  He has held corporate and healthcare culinary management positions for more than twenty years. He studied at the Culinary Institute of America.

Palenque has been the focus of a New York Times article on gourmet food and menu options in healthcare, and has been featured in many regional and local publications as well. He is a frequent guest on local television culinary segments, and has competed on a national level in culinary competitions for which he has received bronze and silver medals.

Palenque is active in his church, St. Rose Philippine Duchesne in Anthem, Arizona, where he serves as Fourth Degree Knight and Chancellor for the Knights of Columbus. He enjoys working on various service projects for the church.
