The Scottsdale League for the Arts invites you to volunteer for the 39th Annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival on April 8 & 9.
Our signature event, the Scottsdale Culinary Festival weekend, provides memorable opportunities for volunteering and tasting the Valley’s finest culinary delights. Our success depends on 450 dedicated community volunteers to staff more than 40 positions on the Festival grounds. Since proceeds benefit the arts in Arizona, volunteering for the Festival is a great way to contribute to the arts as well as host a great party. Join us for what we hope will be your best volunteer experience ever!

Be the first to greet Festival guests. Volunteers need a friendly attitude and the ability to work on their feet to collect admission fees, take tickets, answer questions, make guests feel welcome and thank them for attending. Gates can get busy, so extroverts and multi-taskers fit nicely in this position.
Guests use tickets to purchase food, beverages and special venue admission at the Festival. Volunteers in our 10 Ticket Booths need a friendly attitude, the confidence to handle payment transactions, efficient manual dexterity and good customer service skills to sell tickets and answer guest questions. Ticket volunteers are seated at tables for most of their shift.
Six to eight volunteers are needed to staff each of our beverage booths. Volunteers will sell beer, wine, soft drinks and water to thirsty guests. Volunteers must be at least 19 years old and check 21-wristbands before serving alcoholic beverages to guests. Each booth will contain a paid staff bartender who serves as booth manager. Volunteers must be energetic, people-oriented and be able to work on their feet for an entire shift.
